An impressive multiple crash occurred on Friday on the Pan American Highway and left a balance of one motorcyclist dead and nine injured. The fatal event happened in the Bell branch of NorthAccess, at the height of kilometer 72 and hand towards the city of Bueno Aires, and was of great impact, to such an extent that a van was overturned on top of one car and another vehicle culminated in one of the opposite-sense lanes.
Police sources reported to Infobae,the accident involved six vehicles in total, including awhite Volkswagen Saveiro van, a grey Toyota Hilux, a silver-grey Mercedes Benz Sprinter, a grey Ford Fiesta car, a grey Renault Duster and a white Kawasaki 1100 Ninja motorcycle.
Police officers from the Bonaerense Police Patrol and Motorized commandos mounted an operation to preserve the scene, while the expertise was conducted to establish how the accident originated and the subsequent sequence that triggered the chain crash.
The incident ended with the life of a man riding the bike. The victim was identified as Alexis Javier Dominguez, approximately 50 years old.
The couple moving in the Saveiro - a 41-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman - were unhinged. For his part, the driver of the Hilux, a 26-year-old boy, suffered minor injuries and was assisted on site by SAME doctors. The rest of the victims - nine occupants of the other vehicles, two of them in serious condition - were transferred to the San José de Campana Municipal Hospital.
Eyewitnesses claimed that there were two turns simultaneously, before one of the rolls ended up mounted on the other in the middle of the route.
By the tragic event, actions were initiated under the provisional cover of culpable homicide,with the intervention of the Functional Unit of Instruction and Decentralized Judgment of Campana.
Traffic was cut off in the direction of Federal Capital - traffic had to be diverted to the manifold - and partly in the opposite hand while experts and other officials worked to clear the trace. Logically, this led to significant delays in circulation. All lanes in both ways were enabled after 19, as reported from the Highways del Sol dealership.
The site was also attended by Transit, Civil Defense and Bell Fire Department agents, who headed there to help the victims. Journalist Daniel Trila approached the area and took images of the state where the vehicles and pieces of veneer and other remains were left scattered on the pavement of National Route No. 9.
Recently there was another multiple shock that moved amid the preventive controls by strict confinement. It was last Wednesday in the porteño neighborhood of Belgrano, where three vehicles collided at the height of Leopoldo Lugones Avenue and La Pampa. As a result of the onslaught, three people were injured.
The coup was captured by security cameras in the city of Buenos Aires. It all happened a few metres from one of the traffic and permit control operations, as part of the second wave of coronavirus contagions.
The recorded images reveal the exact timing of the brutal traffic accident, when one of the Renault Sandero-branded vehicles driving through Lugones was hit from behind by the Fiat Siena. During the manoeuvre, it does not stop before impact. The crash caused the first shot to overturn and then collide with a Toyota Corolla.
Immediately, assistance was requested from same and a sanitary helicopter that referred the woman travelling as an escort to Argerich Hospital with polytraumas, while the Corolla driver was assisted on site.
The coup resulted in a chain crash involving two other vehicles that were in the nearby lanes. One of the cars overturned by the force of the impact, while another was stopped by a cloakrail.
