Gabby Petito was strangled to death

 Gabby Petito failed by strangulation three to four weeks before her body was plant, Teton County CoronerDr. Brent Blue said at a Tuesday news conference. 

 

 Blue declined to presume whether he believed her swain at the time, Brian Laundrie, was involved. “ We're only assigned with cause and manner of death,” he said. “ Who committed the homicide is over to law enforcement.” 

He said only the cause of death, strangulation, and manner of death, homicide, would be released, per Wyoming law. Blue first ruled the death a homicide onSept. 21. 

 

 “ In a situation like this, nothing is egregious, so the cause of death needed disquisition,” he said. 

The Wyoming coroner said it took weeks to deliver the final report because of how scrupulous the examination was. Blue said they performed a whole body CAT checkup and toxicology tests, and a forensic pathologist and anthropologist were also involved. 

 

 Blue said Petito wasn't pregnant when she failed, but else declined to answer utmost of the questions journalists asked. When asked what effect the rudiments may have had on the condition of Petito’s body, he said, “ All I can note on that, is her body was out in the nature for three to four weeks.”

 He also noted the attention this case is getting online and in the media. “ It’s unfortunate all deaths do n’t get as important content as this one,” he said. 

 

 “ Gabby Petito’s death at such a youthful age is a tragedy,” the Laundrie family attorney, Steven Bertolino, said in a statement to NewsNation. “ While Brian Laundrie is presently charged with the unauthorized use of a disbenefit card belonging to Gabby, Brian is only considered a person of interest in relation to Gabby Petito’s demise. “ At this time Brian is still missing and when he's located we will address the pending fraud charge against him.” 


 Petito dissolved while on across-country road trip with her swain Brian Laundrie in a converted trailer van. The trip was well- proved on social media until it suddenly desisted, allegedly nearly in Wyoming. The couple proved utmost of their trip, which started in July, on a YouTube Vlog called “ VAN LIFE”. 

 

 Petito, 22, was reported missingSept. 11 by her parents after she didn't respond to calls and textbooks for several days. Petito’s body was plantSept. 19 just outdoors Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming.

 It has been weeks since any firm new details surfaced in the case as authorities search for Petito’s swain. Brian Laundrie’s parents say they last saw himSept. 13 when they said he took the auto to a-acre Florida reserve. He was reported missingSept. 17. 

Despite searching for nearly a month in the Carlton Reserve, police haven't plant him or indeed said they ’ve plant suggestions. 

 

 “ We need to find commodity,” North Port police Officer Josh Taylor toldNewsNationNow.com Friday. “ I suppose there’s so important attention on this. I do n’t know that this case would ever get to be a cold case. We ’ll continue to search. You know, we could be searching that Carlton Reserve and near lands for a long, long time.”

 The FBI has issued an arrest leave for Laundrie. He's wanted for “ use of unauthorized access device” related to his conditioning following Petito’s death. The FBI says he used a disbenefit card and a Leg to pierce two bank accountsAug. 30 andSept. 1.
